The JCC offers classes for both the novice and experienced dancer.

The Ballet program teaches children from their early ages in
Pre-Ballet and Budding Ballerinas programs. Pre-Ballet is an introductory program for preschool aged children which introduces them to ballet techniques and terminology. After mastering Pre-Ballet, children in Kindergarten and beyond move on to become Budding Ballerinas. This program is more advanced than the Pre-Ballet program, but still full of fun. Classes are open to boys and girls. The dress code for boys in both programs is shorts and a t-shirt. Girls are to wear a leotard and tights. All children are required to wear Ballet shoes.

Boys and Girls are invited to participate in this program and gain flexibility, strength, coordination, and style while having lots of fun. Dance classes will be held in the dance aerobic studio with mirrors, dance bars, and wood flooring. The program includes a recital in June. Additional fees apply for costumes.

Getting children involved in physical activities at such an early age plays a crucial role in building confidence and self-esteem.
