"Senior Exercise" lunch program March 25

The JCC will hold a "Senior Exercise" Lunch and Learn program on Friday, March 25 from noon to 1:30 p.m. The event will begin with a hot kosher lunch followed by a presentation by Pat Scott, the JCC's new Sports & Fitness Center director. Scott will offer exercise and fitness tips for seniors and discuss the JCC Fitness Center's group exercise classes and other amenities geared toward seniors.

There is a $3.50 suggested contribution for the lunch portion. There is no cost to attend only the Senior Exercise presentation which will start at 12:30 p.m. Registration for lunch is required by noon on March 24 by calling 315-445-2360.

The JCC's Lunch and Learn program offers useful and timely information on a range of issues facing seniors such as health, wellness, finances, legal matters, caregiving and more.

The Lunch and Learns are an added component to the JCC's successful Bobbi Epstein Lewis Senior Adult Dining Program, which offers seniors, age 60 and over, a nutritious and well-balanced kosher meal weekdays at noon for a $3.50 suggested contribution. It's the only senior nutrition program available outside of New York City serving kosher meals five days per week. The program is funded in part by the Onondaga County Department of Aging and Youth and the New York State Office for the Aging and Administration for Community Living.
