The Pomeranz Jewish Community Center of Syracuse will hold a Chanukah luncheon for seniors on Friday, Dec. 23 from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the JCC on 5655 Thompson Rd., DeWitt. Come celebrate the holiday with latkes and a special holiday lunch along with live entertainment.

This special Chanukah holiday luncheon, open to seniors age 60 and older, is being offered for a suggested contribution of $5 per person. Registration for lunch is required by Dec. 21 at noon by calling 315-445-2360.

The JCC of Syracuse’s Bobbi Epstein Lewis Senior Adult Dining Program offers seniors, age 60 and over, a nutritious and well-balanced kosher lunch weekdays at noon for a nominal suggested contribution. It’s the only senior nutrition program available outside of New York City serving kosher meals five days per week. The program is funded in part by the Onondaga County Department of Aging and Youth and the New York State Office for the Aging and Administration for Community Living. For more information, and to make a lunch reservation, call 315-445-2360.
