The JCC's Senior Department provides a closeknit community where seniors can socialize, exercise, learn, dine and be entertained.
With funding from the Onondaga County Department of Aging and Youth, and the United Way of Central New York, the JCC provides affordable kosher meals to all seniors aged 60 and over five days a week. The JCC serves over 6000 hot kosher meals every year.
Many seniors spend hours at the JCC playing mah jongg and attending the Neulander Family Sports and Fitness Center's senior adult group exercise classes. We do free manicures once a month every month and it is listed in the newsletter when we pick a day.
The JCC offers senior adults an opportunity to stay active, social and involved in the community.
