NEW! Play pickleball at the JCC

The JCC's Patrick Scott, sports & fitness director, demonstrates his pickleball volleying technique recently on one of the center's outdoor pickleball courts.The JCC's Sports & Fitness Center now offers pickleball play weekdays on its two outdoor tennis courts. The courts may be reserved for up to one hour at a time. Paddles and balls are available to use free of charge. Pickleball is free for JCC Fitness members. Court reservations are suggested.   MORE >

Kids fitness and recreation classes start week of Sept. 11

The classes, open to preschool and school-age boys and girls, are designed to get kids moving and having fun. The classes are open to the community and JCC membership is not required to enroll, although enrollment is discounted for members.    MORE >

Get wet! Aqua Fitness group exercise class

Classes are held in the JCC's outdoor heated pool and set to music in order to get you moving! All ages are welcome. JCC Fitness Center renovations starting Aug. 22

TRX for Golf class moving to Thursday nights

Remembering Dolph Schayes for his off-the-court connections

That’s just one of the many fond memories Steve Herwood has of his friend and basketball legend Dolph Schayes, who passed away from cancer at age 87 in December.  MORE >

The weekly class will be held on Fridays from 10-10:55 a.m. in the upstairs exercise studio. Co-ed basketball clinics on Oct. 26 to benefit the JCC

The cost is $20 per player and proceeds from the clinics will benefit the JCC.  MORE >

Fall tap dance classes in full swing

On Sept. 16, 2014, the JCC once again began offering adult tap dance classes led by local attorney and choreographer Barry Shulman. Four class levels are offered on Tuesday evenings and open to anyone ages 12 and older. No prior dance experience is necessary.
