JCC to hold Kids Night Out Jan. 28

Attention parents: Let your child enjoy an evening of winter fun while you take that time to do something for yourself! The Sam Pomeranz Jewish Community Center of Syracuse will hold a Kids Night Out for children in grades K-6 on Saturday, Jan. 28 from 7 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. at the JCC on 5655 Thompson Rd., DeWitt. This night of supervised fun will feature age-appropriate activities, tasty treats and more.

“Children, like adults, occasionally need a night out all to their own to hang out and have fun with friends,” says Mick Hagan, JCC’s director of children and teen services. “We’re very pleased to continue this winter tradition of offering a Kids Night Out. It’s a real treat for the kids and also gives parents an opportunity to enjoy their own night out or night in.”

Some of the fun winter activities planned will include winter-themed crafts, snack time, make an indoor snowman, kickball in the gym, a movie on the big screen and more.

Discounted Kids Night Out early registration through Jan. 23 is $25 per child ($20 per child for JCC members) with family maximum of $40. Current JCC membership or program enrollment is not necessary for a child to attend Kids Night Out.

For more information, call 315-445-2360, email Mick Hagan at or download the Kids Night out registration form at right.
