Please wear a mask while inside the JCC's common areas and classrooms

Dear Members and Friends,

We take the safety of every child and member very seriously at the JCC. This past weekend, Onondaga County was added to the CDC's list of counties with "substantial" coronavirus transmission, with 257 new cases this past week.

Based on the new recommendation by the CDC, we will now ask that everyone entering the building wear a mask in common areas and classrooms. This applies to both vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals. Children ages 2 and up will be wearing masks while indoors. This new policy will go into effect Tuesday, August 3rd.

As a reminder, anyone who is not vaccinated MUST wear a mask at all times.

As things evolve with COVID-19, we will continue to adapt our policies and procedures to keep everyone as safe as possible. We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation in Onondaga County and as things develop, we will adjust our policies and procedures as needed.

We thank you for your continued observance of our COVID-19 protocols and for your commitment and dedication to the Jewish Community Center of Syracuse.

Sincerely,

Marci Erlebacher
Executive Director
