JCC night at the Syracuse Crunch on Dec. 5

Syracuse Crunch logo.Kick off the first weekend in December with the Sam Pomeranz Jewish Community Center by taking in some hot action on the ice between two Central New York hockey rivals. Saturday, Dec. 5 is Jewish Community Center Night at the Syracuse Crunch vs. the Utica Comets. The game starts at 7 pm at the Oncenter War Memorial Arena in downtown Syracuse.

Tickets to join the fun and action of this bitter rivalry are available for the discounted price of only $15 each (cash or check only) at the JCC of Syracuse, 5655 Thompson Rd. in DeWitt. The Dec. 5 faceoff will see Thruway rivals the Syracuse Crunch and Utica Comets meet for the third of ten games between the two teams this season. The game is sure to be another heated contest in what has built up to be one of the fiercest rivalries in the American Hockey League. Tickets are going fast so don’t delay in getting your specially discounted seats.

Since Utica joined the league two seasons ago, the Crunch has played some of its most memorable games against its Thruway rival. The Frozen Dome Classic between the Crunch and Comets in November 2014 at Syracuse University’s iconic Carrier Dome drew a record crowd of 30,715—the largest to ever watch an indoor professional hockey game in the United States.
