The Sam Pomeranz Jewish Community Center wants to help you get through the last stretch of winter with some delicious homemade kosher soup.

The JCC of Syracuse will hold a “Soup Sale” fundraiser on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. This one-day only event will feature two varieties of soup—chicken noodle and Tuscan white bean—available for purchase in quart containers for $5 each.

Soup must be preordered and prepaid by Friday, March 12 by ordering securely online at right, submitting orders in-person at the JCC or via mail using this form (PDF, 405 KB), or by calling 315-445-2360.

All soups for this fundraiser will be fully cooked and refrigerated prior to pick up. The soups may then be frozen once brought home. Do not microwave or reheat the soup in their original plastic containers.

Soup pickup will happen at the JCC, 5655 Thompson Rd., DeWitt, in the JCC’s Fitness Center parking lot in the back of the building. Take Thompson Rd. and turn on to Ridgecrest Rd., then take the second left into the Fitness parking lot.

The proceeds from this fundraiser will benefit the JCC’s Senior Kosher Meal Program. For more information, contact the JCC at 315-445-2360 or email Cindy at
